With his shimmering colors,
sun-drenched landscapes and scenes filled with emotion
and gaiety, Max Agostini has become the painter of joie
de vivre (joy of life).
His watchful eye restores to the world
the enchantment that our own contemporary glances often
overlook. Advancing with each successive brushstroke
toward a sense of luminous perfection, he describes what
he sees it, all enveloped in a cheerful radiance
Max Agostini was born in Paris at the
outbreak of World War I. Artistically following in the
long tradition of French pictorial classicism, he has
pursued and perpetuated Impressionist techniques.
