BIOGRAPHY

Born 1958 in Melbourne, Australia. Moved to Greece in 1969. Lived in Chicago from 1979 to 1988, where he studied Linguistics and Ceramics at Northeastern Illinois University. Lives and works in Thessaloniki, Greece.

1992  Co-founder of “Amalgama” Artist Initiative and Co-op Gallery. Active member until 1997.

1998  Co-founds an artist group with the artists Alexandra Katsiani, Nikos Krionidis, Demetre Lioliopoulos, Iordani Stilidis and Thanasis Hondros The group adopts a name according to the action/performance/ project etc undertaken. Thus : Box Office Hit / Society for the Restoration of the Vustrofidon Writing System.. The same year the group runs for mayor of Thessaloniki. The ticket’s /group;s name is IDIA POLI.
