"The Fountain of Love" (about 1785) by the French Rococo painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard (1732-1806) is a delightful and whimsical work. Fragonard was a master of the Rococo style, known for his lighthearted and elegant scenes of love and leisure. This painting, with its soft, diffused light and a sense of playful charm, is a perfect example of his ability to create a sense of romantic enchantment.
