"Study in Rhythm: Red and Gold" (1934) by the American composer and artist Joseph Schillinger (1895-1943) is a unique work that reflects his fusion of music and visual art. Schillinger developed a mathematical system for creating art and music, and this painting is a visual representation of that theory. It uses dynamic lines and colors to create a sense of rhythm and harmony.
