"Yellow-Red-Blue (Jaune-Rouge-Bleu)" (1925) by the Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky (1866-1944) is a seminal work of his Bauhaus period. A pioneer of abstract art, Kandinsky believed that color and form could express inner emotions.
