"Paris and Oenone" (1791) by the English sculptor and illustrator John Flaxman (1755-1826) is an elegant and classical work. Flaxman was a key figure in British Neoclassicism, known for his refined and linear style. This work, which depicts a scene from Greek mythology, is a beautiful example of his ability to evoke a sense of timeless harmony and grace through his delicate lines and simple forms.
