"Portrait of Louise de Keroualle, Duchess of Portsmouth" (about 1671–1674) by the English painter Peter Lely (1618-1680) is an elegant work. Lely was the most prominent portrait painter in England during the Restoration era. This painting, with its refined details and a sense of aristocratic grace, is a beautiful example of his work and a testament to his ability to capture the style of his time.
