"Fruit and Flowers" (ca. 1630) by the Italian painter Orsola Maddalena Caccia (c. 1596-1676) is a charming and detailed still life. A nun and a painter, Caccia was a master of botanical and floral scenes, known for her intricate and symbolic compositions. This painting, with its delicate rendering of flora and fruit, reflects her contemplative and refined approach to the genre.
