"Picknick" (1904) by the Austrian-German painter Leo Putz (1869-1940) is a notable example of his progressive, often Art Nouveau-inspired style. Putz was a key member of the Munich Secession and was celebrated for his skill in figure painting. The painting captures a sense of leisure and light in an idyllic outdoor setting, characteristic of his work from this period.
