"Bathing Women (L'heure embrasée)" (1897) by the Belgian painter Théo Van Rysselberghe (1862-1926) is a masterful work of Pointillism. Van Rysselberghe was a leading Neo-Impressionist who applied the scientific principles of color theory to create luminous scenes. This painting, with its meticulous dots of color, creates a harmonious and vibrant composition that celebrates light and the natural form.
