"Flora" (1559) by the Flemish painter Jan Massys (c. 1509-1575) is a beautiful example of the Mannerist style. Massys, the son of the famous painter Quentin Massys, was known for his graceful figures and detailed landscapes. This painting, depicting the Roman goddess of flowers and spring, is a testament to his skill in combining allegorical themes with a refined, decorative style.
