"In Nature's Wonderland" (1835) is a work by the American painter Thomas Doughty (1793-1856), a key figure in the Hudson River School. Doughty was celebrated for his serene and contemplative landscapes that captured the unspoiled beauty of the American wilderness. This painting, with its idealized scenery and soft light, exemplifies the Romantic style and reverence for nature of its time.
