Shape relevant research
Organisations bring direct knowledge of sector priorities, constraints, professional structures and emerging needs. That intelligence strengthens research questions, demonstrator design and evaluation criteria.
EURAN BRIDGES · HORIZON EUROPE · HCL2261
A structured institutional architecture connecting research, professional ecosystems and European-scale replication.
EURAN BRIDGES — ARTISTIC INTELLIGENCE.

01 · WHY INSTITUTIONAL COOPERATION
EURAN BRIDGES is structured as a Gateway Network of Networks. International and national organisations are invited where their mandate, sector intelligence and reach can materially strengthen the research and its transfer into real professional environments.
These organisations are not symbolic supporters. They bring sector authority, institutional continuity, specialist knowledge, professional reach and pathways for validation and replication. Their participation anchors the research in operating realities and creates routes through which validated results can move beyond a single demonstrator.
This architecture responds directly to the Horizon Europe Artistic Intelligence topic and its emphasis on stronger connections among artistic practice, science, technology and innovation across national, European and international networks.
Organisations bring direct knowledge of sector priorities, constraints, professional structures and emerging needs. That intelligence strengthens research questions, demonstrator design and evaluation criteria.
International and national organisations can connect relevant experts, companies, institutions, operators, cultural actors and user communities through established professional structures.
Institutional networks create a credible path from bounded research demonstrators to further professional environments, countries and sectors.
02 · GATEWAY NETWORK OF NETWORKS
EURAN BRIDGES combines a focused R&I consortium with established organisations capable of extending knowledge, access and replication through the structures they already lead and serve.
Participation is selective and proportionate. Each organisation enters according to its mandate, capacity and institutional rules — from formal research implementation to expert guidance, ecosystem connection, validation and replication.
03 · WHERE ORGANISATIONS CAN CONTRIBUTE
Translate professional priorities, operating constraints and emerging challenges into research questions, use cases and evaluation criteria.
Contribute expert knowledge, review, methodology validation and interpretation of sector relevance through the appropriate specialists.
Identify suitable companies, institutions, sites or controlled settings in which bounded low-TRL experiments can be developed and assessed.
Support access to clearly defined professional or public populations where this is methodologically relevant and ethically appropriate.
Assess whether methods developed in one demonstrator can transfer to other locations, markets, members or institutional contexts.
Provide pathways through which validated findings, methods and tools can move into larger professional ecosystems after research validation.
04 · PARTICIPATION ROUTES
EURAN BRIDGES defines the participation route after the organisation, its contribution and its institutional position are clear. Mandate, eligibility, responsibility and timing determine the final structure.
For eligible legal entities carrying substantive project tasks, with defined responsibilities and an agreed Horizon lump-sum allocation.
For organisations carrying defined action tasks without receiving EU funding, subject to the applicable Horizon Europe rules and the final consortium structure.
For organisations contributing expertise, validation, institutional perspective or strategic connection where formal funded participation is not the appropriate mechanism.
For organisations whose principal contribution is opening structured access to selected experts, environments, professional communities and replication channels.
05 · PROJECT MATERIALS
The Gateway Partner Dossier defines the institutional architecture and participation routes. The Complete Partner Dossier presents the research, work-package, demonstrator, governance and budget structure in full.
Document status: confidential, non-binding working material for consortium-development discussions. Participation, legal status, tasks, budgets and final consortium composition remain subject to confirmation.
06 · CONTACT
Organisations that see a substantive role within EURAN BRIDGES are invited to contact EURAN directly. Given the submission timetable, a brief initial, non-binding indication by Monday 21 September 2026 would enable EURAN to begin immediate role definition.
