02 · What EURAN proposes

ART, DESIGN AND PLACE — A PERFORMING-ARTS TOURING PROPOSITION

EURAN brings an artistic, spatial and design dimension into cross-border performing-arts development. The proposition combines specialist performing-arts capability with EURAN's experience in art, design, visual environments and place. Performance, scenography, audience experience and place-based cultural encounters become parts of one co-created touring work, structured around the priorities of Perform Europe.

04 · The partnership

Defined capabilities — not symbolic association

Core capability

Performing-arts leadership

An eligible performing-arts professional or organisation provides the specialist artistic and touring leadership required by the proposition. Live music is excluded from this call.

Core capability

Artists / performers

Practitioners from eligible performing-arts disciplines develop and realise the touring work.

Core capability

Production / touring

Production and host organisations establish the operational capacity to realise and tour the work across different European territories.

Core capability

Accessibility / sustainability

Relevant expertise embeds inclusion, accessibility and environmental performance within the development and delivery of the project.

05 · Why this matters

From artistic concept to a European touring work

The proposition brings performing arts, visual culture, spatial design and audience experience into one development process. Each participant contributes its specialist capability to the same work. The result is not a visual-art project attached to a performing-arts application, but a genuinely co-created touring proposition designed from the outset to move across European contexts.

The artistic proposition provides the starting point. Perform Europe creates the framework to develop it across borders.

06 · Participation

EURAN — PERFORM EUROPE is now being structured

The artistic, production and touring configuration is being defined for the 22 October 2026 submission. Participation is established where artistic capability, eligibility and strategic relevance converge. No organisation is presented as a partner before its role and participation are agreed.
