Service 09. Installation Supervision & Conformity Verification protects the final step between the artwork product and the finished interior. EURAN establishes the intended placement and visible standard, works with the Client’s appointed installer or site team, and verifies whether the installed result conforms to the approved reference within the appointed scope.

01 · WHAT THIS SERVICE MEANS

One defined part of the project, with a clear role and a clear handover.

Placement must be repeatable

For repeated rooms, cabins or residences, the objective is not to improvise each installation. The approved prototype or placement standard becomes the reference for the wider rollout.

Public spaces require project-specific judgement

Original works, feature pieces and public-area programmes may require individual location review, alignment with interior-design intent and coordination with the relevant project team.

Supervision is different from installation labour

EURAN may define standards, establish prototypes, supervise, snag and verify conformity. The physical mass installation workforce remains with the Client, shipyard, hotel contractor, main contractor or another appointed installer unless expressly agreed otherwise.

02 · WHEN CLIENTS USE IT

Typical project conditions.

Room / cabin rollout

Where the same or related works must be positioned consistently across a large number of repeated interiors.

Public-space installation

Where individual works require location-specific placement and visual coordination.

Client-supplied ready products

Where the Client already owns the finished works but needs an installation standard, prototype/reference location and conformity review.

03 · WHAT EURAN DOES

The appointed scope can include the following.

  • Review artwork schedules, approved locations and relevant drawings within the appointed scope.
  • Define visible placement criteria such as height, alignment, orientation, relationship to furniture or architectural reference points, where appropriate.
  • Establish or review prototype-room, prototype-cabin or reference installations before mass rollout.
  • Brief and coordinate with the Client’s appointed installation team regarding the approved artwork-placement standard.
  • Supervise selected installation phases or sample areas as defined in the Written Appointment.
  • Record snagging observations, visible non-conformities and required corrections within the appointed scope.
  • Carry out final conformity review or sample-based verification as agreed, and document unresolved exceptions.

04 · WHAT WE NEED FROM THE CLIENT

Fast decisions require clear project inputs.

  • Appoint and manage the installation contractor / personnel unless the Written Appointment expressly states otherwise.
  • Provide safe site access, approved working conditions, permits, inductions and coordination with the responsible site management.
  • Provide accurate wall/build-up information, concealed-service information and any project requirements needed by the installer.
  • Ensure that fixing methods, structural suitability, local regulations and installer health-and-safety obligations are addressed by the appropriately qualified parties.
  • Provide timely decisions where site conditions require an approved deviation from the reference.

05 · HOW THE SERVICE RUNS

A controlled sequence from brief to handover.

Reference

Confirm prototype, placement rule or approved artwork-location schedule.

Brief

Transmit the visual and dimensional standard to the appointed installer/site team.

Install

Client-appointed personnel execute the physical installation.

Supervise

EURAN reviews selected work and records deviations or snagging.

Verify

Conformity is checked and exceptions are documented for correction/close-out.

06 · TYPICAL DELIVERABLES

Project documents and decisions, not abstract advice.

  • Placement / installation-reference information appropriate to the appointed scope.
  • Prototype-room, prototype-cabin or reference-installation review record.
  • Installer briefing / coordination notes where required.
  • Snagging or non-conformity list for reviewed areas.
  • Correction / close-out comments and final conformity observations.
  • Project handover record for the artwork-installation scope where appointed.

07 · RESPONSIBILITY BOUNDARY

What this service does — and what it does not automatically assume.

EURAN does not provide mass installation labour under this service. The installer remains responsible for workmanship, tools, fixing execution, site safety, structural suitability, permits and compliance with applicable project requirements unless another arrangement is expressly stated in writing. EURAN’s conformity review addresses the agreed artwork-placement and visible presentation criteria within its appointed scope; it is not a substitute for specialist engineering, statutory inspection or contractor warranties.

09 · ACTIVATE THIS SERVICE

Add Service 09 to your project brief.

Select this service in the EURAN Project Menu together with your industry and any other services required. The final scope, execution route, responsibilities, remuneration and third-party costs are then defined through the appropriate Written Appointment and the EURAN TPA™.
